Venue Facilities

The venue has:

Baby changing facilities

Toilets (including an accessible toilet)

A soft play area for children (this is run by the centre rather than the team, to use please see the front desk in foyer. There is a small charge) - Please note that this is not available at all times whilst the event is on due to private bookings.

A wonderful café which serves food, snacks, hot and cold drinks etc and you can eat whilst overlooking the river.

The venue is entirely on the ground floor and the stalls will be arranged across two rooms. The main entrance/ exit to the venue has automatic doors and is on a very gentle incline with no steps.

The entrance/ exit at the front of the venue, the entrance to the two rooms which will have the stalls and the cafe, all have wide, level entrances.

There is an accessible toilet which is located centrally in the venue off of the main corridor connecting the two rooms as well as other located which are located to the front and rear of the venue.

The venue is centrally located so is easy to get to from town and from the car parks and the car parks surrounding the venue have parking for blue badge holders.

Due to the popularity of the event, the venue does get busy especially at peak times. Quieter times tend to be around lunch time and just before the closing time (3-4pm).

There will be lot of stalls which will appeal to children coming to the event.

For younger children, the venue has a soft play area which is located between the two rooms. To use please see the front desk in the foyer, there is a small charge for this. Please note, this is run by the venue rather than by the team.

We have spaced out the stalls to allow buggies to get through but, due to the popularity of the event, the venue does get quite busy during peak times. Quieter times tend to be lunch time and between 3-4pm.

The venue is all on one level with no steps.

There are baby changing facilities located in the venue.

Cash vs Card

Many of our sellers are cash only stalls. Some sellers are bringing their own card machines. Please ask the seller and they will be able to advise you whether they are cash only or also accept card.

There are cash points a short walk from the venue in the town centre but we would recommend coming with cash. Change is always really appreciated by the vendors!

Our team hashtag is #DorsetTeam and on the day of the event we will be using this to share photos and updates about the fair. We would love to invite you to also share your snaps from the day to the hashtag.
