Dorset Team Craft Evening and Meet Up

On Thursday 14th April members of our Dorset Team met up for an evening of crafting at Hobbycraft in Ferndown.

The meet up was really relaxed and a great way to meet other members, exchange ideas and advice and enjoy doing something we all love....crafting! It was also a great opportunity to have a browse around Hobbycraft and pick up some new crafting materials!

Each member bought along a craft project to work on. It was great to see members working on orders or items for their shops and also members crafting purely for pleasure. Around the table we had everything from collage to crochet and from needlework to illustration.

Lynn showed us her amazing beading book which she has recently written and had published and bought along homemade biscuits which were hugely popular!!

Maxine showed us the proofs for her beautiful new greeting card range which earlier in the day she had been photographing and listing in her Etsy shop.

Jennifer worked on a Mollie Makes hoop art project she had been meaning to do for ages to display in her house and in-between filmed for our Dorset Team Youtube channel.

Frankie decided to use the evening as a good excuse to learn a new craft and was learning how to crochet and Kerry who runs a shop selling crochet items and patterns kindly gave her a crochet masterclass!

Thank you to everyone who came along to our meet-up. It was a fantastic evening and great to see lots of familiar faces as well as lots of new faces!
