Buy and Collect at the Dorset Team Christmas Fair

 The Dorset Team are very excited to announce that this year at the Dorset Team Christmas Fair we will be offering a Buy and Collect service so you can purchase items in advance of the fair and pick them up on the day.

This means you can:

- Shop from the comfort of your living room

- Spend more time planning what gifts to buy from who

- Get your Christmas shopping done early and spread the cost

- Make sure the item you have your eye on doesn't sell out before you get to the event!

- Save on postage

How does it work?

Please find below the list of sellers who will be taking part in the Buy and Collect promotion

Once you have found an item that you would like to purchase, just add the item to your shopping basket on Etsy. At the checkout you have the option to add a coupon code. Type DORSETTEAMCOLLECT into this box and it will automatically remove the postage costs for you. If you are purchasing from multiple sellers in one transaction you will need to use the code for each shop.

Complete your purchase and then on Saturday 3rd December visit the Dorset Team Christmas Fair at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne to collect your item from the stallholder who will have it ready and waiting for you. You can collect anytime between 10am - 4pm.

Meet the Seller - Dorset Team Christmas Fair - Danielle from Chibi Chi Designs

Maker's Story:
The name of my shop was inspired by my two little furry monsters Boo and Cookie. Chibi is a style of (usually) Japanese animation, it's true definition is little, small or tiny. Chi is an abbreviation of Chihuahua.
 I really wanted to incorporate my doggies into the store as I spend most of my working day with them. I never tire of their hilarious antics and their sweet personalities are a constant source of inspiration. It usually starts with an idea. I can picture the design I want, I then just have to use my computer software to translate it from my mind and onto the screen. 
 I have to figure out how to make boxes and bags work, and how to ensure that paper cuts are all inter-connected and will hold their structure once cut. Once the digital design is ready, my computer is hooked up to my cutting machine and it works its magic! I then have to carefully finish off the design before finally being wrapped and sent to it's new home.

Dorset Team Christmas Fair: Danielle willl be selling her Paper cuts, cards, prints and boxes at the Dorset Team Christmas Fair on Saturday 3rd December at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne.

4 weeks to go until our Dorset Team Christmas Fair - Wimborne Minster

It is just 4 weeks to go until our Dorset Team Christmas Fair at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne!

The fair is being supported by Etsy UK and will feature 70+ local Etsy sellers who will be selling handmade and vintage wares as well as crafting supplies.

If you are looking for unique gifts that you can't find on the high street this is the perfect place!

Here is a sneak preview of some of the stallholders who will be coming to the event....

Sophia from Jessalli 

Jessalli is a Handmade Homewares company situated in the heart of beautiful Dorset. After a couple years of selling at Markets and fairs Sophia opened Jessalli into a full time business in 2011.

Sophia makes handmade appliqué and free machine embroidered soft furnishings, cushions, bunting and make up bags and works with her Mum Allison and sister Bea.

Sonia from LAYOUTLINES

Sonia is an architect and designer with a passion for travel. 

She is originally from Scotland but has also lived in Japan, India and now Dorset. 

She can usually be found with a sketchbook or camera in hand.

Sonia will be selling her drawings, prints, Christmas cards, decorations and ceramic work at our Dorset Team Christmas Fair

Donna from Little Vagaries 

Donna will be at the Christmas Fair selling prints, original artwork, illustrated stones, handprinted scarves and greeting cards.

Donna’s illustrations are highly detailed and small scale. They are even more impressive when you see Donna’s work up close! She draws tiny animals and strange distant lands onto Dorset beach pebbles, paints using tea and makes cyanotype prints by using the light of the Bournemouth sun.

Donna has been selling on Etsy since 2008 and is inspired by maps, foreign cities, old stories, unusual songs and nature.
