Dorset Team Christmas Fair - Terri Peay

Not long now until the Dorset Team Christmas Fair which is taking place on Saturday 1^stand Sunday 2^ndDecember in the Allendale Centre, Wimborne. 

Each week we are going to be meeting a different stallholder who will be selling at the event. 

Terri Peay

This week we meet Terri Peay who runs her shop of the same name and sells handcrafted illustrated homewares, proudly designed and made in Dorset.

Terri is based in Weymouth in the beautiful rolling hills of Dorset.

She says "I draw inspiration from the serene landscape and its creatures. Through hand illustration, I create homewares & gifts with love, laughter and life at the heart of their design. All of my products are proudly designed, printed and crafted in the U.K and mainly feature British animals. "

Terri's products are hugely popular and have been featured in the past in both Vogue and Country Living Magazine.

Dorset Team Spring Fair - Gift Guide - Products for babies and children

The Dorset Team Spring Fair is just 4 weeks away! There are going to be 60 fantastic stalls by local designer-makers and sellers selling a range of different products.

Our gift guide for this week is products for children, we have lots of stallholders at the event who will be selling products for babies and children. Here are a few of my favourites....



1) Handmade teepee by Cara from Carara Designs 

This teepee makes the perfect pop up den! It is made from beautiful 'wild west' fabric.


2) Personalised animal baby towel gift set by Coralie's Crafts Gifts 

Personalised towels by Coralie's crafts gifts, lots of different designs and of course custom names. 

3) Star drifting hand illustrated print by Sarah Lovell Creations

 This print by Sarah Lovell would be perfect for a nursery or child's bedroom. The print features the three griends : a cat, rabbit and mouse drifting across a moon lit ocean in a little wooden boat.

4) Teething necklace by HexNex Jewellery

Available in a range of different colours but we love these Spring themed colours of this teething necklace.

Available in lots of different colours, perfect for keeping little toes cosy!

Gift Guide: Sneak preview of items by stallholders at the Dorset Team Spring Fair

The Dorset Team will be having their Spring Fair in Wimborne on Saturday 5th May at the Allendale Centre. The fair is open between 10am - 4pm and entry is FREE.

All items coming to the fair are handmade, vintage or crafting supplies and there will be something for everyone and every budget.

Bright & Beautiful Items From The Dorset Team On Etsy

We hope that everyone is enjoying February! Are you starting to see signs of spring, bringing a promise of longer days and warm weather?

Treat Yourself - Items from Dorset Team members for the New Year

Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who has supported the team in 2016. We have seen our membership grown greatly in the past year and we are now over 700 members so can offer an even wider selection of locally made products as well as crafting supplies and vintage goods.

This month the theme for our new Pinterest board is Treat Yourself and members have been sharing their favourite items from Dorset Team members to the Pinterest board. Choose from something indulgent, relaxing, fun, luxurious or just simply beautiful things from the team's shops or why not take up a new craft by trying one of the craft kits or craft tutorials by Dorset Team members.
