Dorset Team Events 2023

 

Lots of people have been asking for a run down of our Dorset Team events for 2023 so here they all are…! Our events have been running for over 10 years now - thank you so much for all your support and we hope that you will enjoy this year’s events.  We are the local Etsy team for Dorset so are primarily Etsy sellers but we have also opened up our events to other local makers, creatives and indie shops to join us which is a really exciting addition and means we can bring you even more diverse, beautiful and unique hand picked stalls for our events. Come and say hi on our social media at Dorset Team - you can find us on Instagram and Facebook where you can also see what the team is up to and sneak previews for the events Abbey Farm Flower Festival  Saturday 26th - Monday 28th August  10am - 4pm  Abbotsbury  https://www.facebook.com/events/659542092872932 FREE ENTRY  This August sees a new 3-day event celebrating all things nature, wildlife and floral. There will be stalls by Dorset Team makers and sellers who create crafts inspired by nature, as well as talks, themed walks and workshops, live entertainment and a flower and herb menu by Cherries Café.   Dorset Team Winter Fair 2023 Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November 2023 10am - 4pm  Allendale Centre in Wimborne https://www.facebook.com/events/1286160578833660 FREE ENTRY  Our ever popular Winter Fair - a chance to do some early Christmas shopping from our 60 makers and sellers all under one roof A Dorset Christmas Fair 2023 Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th November 2023 10am - 4pm  The Tank Museum - Bovington (near Wareham) https://www.facebook.com/events/442175061413841/ Ticketed event  Within the incredible venue of the Tank Museum in Bovington is our biggest event of the year with over 100 stalls by Dorset Team makers and sellers each day selling a wide variety of different crafts. There will also be a mini food market within the event where you can pick up festive treats with everything from artisan gins to locally made chocolates. Santa will also be making an appearance and, with this being the Tank Museum, he will be arriving on a tank of course! He will be doing laps of the tank arena before coming into the venue to meet the children. Live entertainment with will run throughout the day. A full festive day/ weekend out. Dorset Team Christmas Fair 2023  Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2023 10am - 4pm Allendale Centre in Wimborne https://www.facebook.com/events/1286160578833660 FREE ENTRY  We finish up our 2023 events with our longest running event, running for over 10 years, the Dorset Team Christmas Fair. A really lovely festive event with chance to shop locally to get some really unique gifts this year. Thank you for all your support for our Dorset Team makers and sellers. Our featured product this week is this adorable dinosaur card by Dorset team member Deepali from Dee's handcrafted.

Dee is based in Dorchester and loves paper crafting! 

Dee says "Like most of the crafters I also started with a shoe box and now I have my own craft room. I love spending time there. Even when I don't have any orders to do, I just sit there and look at pretty papers and inks and will have a little play, it's very therapeutic for me. "
